I've found that it's kinda addictive & fun, but I worked out very quickly that the only way of reasonably progressing without spending money is by watching heaps of ads to both multiply wins, get extra free spins, & get free fighters.. If you're ftp & you don't watch any ads, YOU WILL NOT PROGRESS. Also, I've seen ads played back to back to back to back just to fill up the time required to give something free (minimum ad time is 30 secs, maximum 1 minute).. Great game if you don't care..

It's supposed to be a paid game but has ads everywhere, after every loading screen there will be a button to watch ads and get rewards, there is a subscription as if it wasn't already a paid game. The progress feels slow and it is extremely easy (a level 1 troop can beat 2 level 2 enemy troops without dying) and it gets repetitive after 5 levels. The battles are excruciatingly slow. I wouldn't even play it if it was a free game.

Received for free in a sale, but this is supposedly a paid game at other times. A premium game that seems to have so many ad buttons inserted into it and rubbish like $40nzd per month for a vip package and other microtransactions. I cant get behind it. Otherwise, controls seem fine, gameplay is fairly basic but fine, art direction is pretty good.
